Triple Zero Victoria (TZV) provides the critical link between the Victorian community and the state’s emergency services agencies. It provides Victoria’s 24-hour emergency call-taking and dispatch services for Police, Fire, Ambulance and VICSES.

About the Role The FOI and Information Access Support Officer role is an important administrative support role within the Legal Services team.

The role provides day to day support for the management of Freedom of Information (FOI) requests and other information access matters, including requests from courts, tribunals, government agencies and members of the public. This includes assisting with the handling of sensitive information, supporting compliance with legislative requirements, and liaising professionally with internal and external stakeholders.

This role is well suited to someone with strong administrative skills, sound judgement, and a calm, professional approach to handling sensitive and confidential information in a fast paced environment.

Day to day responsibilities include:

- Support the administration of Freedom of Information (FOI) requests by assisting with receiving, registering, tracking and processing requests in accordance with legislative and organisational requirements.
- Provide administrative support for other information access matters, including non FOI requests, subpoenas, and court or tribunal requests, ensuring responses are coordinated accurately and within required timeframes.
- Respond professionally, courteously and sensitively to external stakeholders,



including members of the public, courts, tribunals and government agencies, via phone, email and written correspondence.
- Maintain accurate, complete and well organised records across multiple systems to support information access activities, reporting and compliance.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately, working collaboratively with Legal Services and internal stakeholders while managing competing tasks and deadlines in a fast paced setting.

About You The successful candidate will have the following experience, skills and attributes:
- You have a Diploma or tertiary qualification in legal administration or a related discipline, and/or substantial experience in administration or office management.
- You are an organised and detail focused administrator who works confidently in a legal, compliance or information handling environment.
- You communicate clearly and professionally and are comfortable dealing sensitively with a wide range of stakeholders, including members of the public and government agencies.
- You exercise sound judgement and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information.
- You manage competing priorities effectively and work well as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
