The Role
As a Youth Engagement and Support Worker, you should be committed to working and assisting young people. Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to supporting Student Engagement and Support staff in identifying and responding to the additional needs of students.
You would work in partnerships with key services providers to coordinate and deliver activities that aim to support and engage students at risk, including individual and small group interventions.
In addition, you will undertake some administrative tasks such as data entry, report writing, meeting minutes and management of student case notes. Knowledge of or experience with school procedures and processes are highly desirable.

Eligibility
- be an Australian or Recent Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
- obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start; and
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
