The Opportunity
n
An excellent role is available for an Associate or Senior Associate to join this busy liability team advising insurers, underwriters, TPAs and self-insured corporates. You'll work on high value matters spanning public liability, multi-party claims and complex coverage issues, with robust mentoring and direct client exposure.

The Work
n
You can expect:
n
n
- Defendant public liability claims and complex general liability disputes
n
- Managing pre-court processes and claims strategy under Queensland's personal injuries regime (incl. early resolution/mandatory steps)
n
- Multi-party litigation across a range of industries
n
- Catastrophic injury and high-exposure matters
n
- Coverage and indemnity issues, contribution/recovery claims
n
n
About You
n
n
- 3–8+ years' PAE (or equivalent)
in defendant insurance/general liability (candidates with a mix of plaintiff and defendant insurance experience will gladly be considered)
n
- Confident running matters: strategy, evidence, drafting, negotiations and mediation preparation
n
- Strong technical grounding and a calm, commercial approach to claims management
n
- Clear written and verbal communication with a client-first mindset
n
n
