About the Role
As the Educational Leader and Preschool Room Leader, you will play a key role in leading our preschool program while supporting and mentoring the wider teaching team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the preschool room team to deliver high-quality educational programs.
- Drive curriculum development and continuous improvement across the service.
- Implement and evaluate play-based learning programs aligned with the EYLF.
- Guide and mentor educators in planning, documentation, and reflective practice.
- Monitor children's learning, development, and wellbeing.
- Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and the local community.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the centre's ongoing success.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ECT qualification).
- Current NESA Teacher Accreditation.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Early Childhood Education.
- Previous leadership experience as an Educational Leader, Room Leader, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQF, and NQS.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates.
- Current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC).
Desirable
- Experience using OWNA or similar digital documentation platforms.
- Experience supporting and mentoring early career educators.
- Passion for continuous improvement and educational excellence.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $45 - $52 per hour + superannuation
