About the Role
Joining our Supported Independent Living (SIL) team as a Disability Support Worker on a casual basis, you will support three women across two neighbouring homes (connected by a gate through the backyard) in Chelsea.
In one home you will be supporting an independent woman working towards employment and greater independence who needs a support worker who can encourage, build her confidence and knows when the best support is to step back and let her take the lead.
In the other home,
you’ll provide more hands‑on support to two women with higher support needs who need a support worker who can provide physical and practical assistance while respecting their choices, preferences and individuality.
We are looking for disability support workers who understand that outstanding disability support isn’t one-size-fits all and can adapt their support style to suit the individual. You must be able to work a variety of shifts across a 24/7 roster including sleepovers, weekends and public holidays.

Skills & Experience
- Experience working with people with disability
- Passionate about providing active support
- Ability to read the room, switch gears and change your support style to suit individuals
- Confidence with manual handling and personal care
- A current First Aid and CPR Certificate
