We are a highly regarded, busy, small animal veterinary practice in East Melbourne. Our clinic is well equipped with all the equipment needed to work up cases to high clinical standards, including digital X-ray, dental X-ray, dedicated surgical suite, IM3 dental base, capnography/Bionet monitoring machine, Ultrasound and endoscopy.

Your responsibilities
n
n
- Supporting and coaching the team
n
- Ensuring smooth day to day running of the practice
n
- Stock management, rostering,
and other practice administration tasks
n
- Managing business financials with your Regional Manager such as budgeting and P&L; reporting
n
- Identifystaff trainingneeds
n
- Providingexceptional customer service and care to all clients and patients
n
- Local area marketing activities
n
- Growth mindset and the development of new business to business opportunities
n
n
About You
n
n
- A genuine, warm and supportive style that enjoys caring for people who care for animals.
n
- At least 2 years in a practice leadership or head nurse role in a veterinary or animal related field
n
- Be committed to high standards of service excellence and clinical care
n
- Experience with practice management systems or appointment book management skills and are computer confident
n
- Have strong problem solving, decision making and organisational skills
n
- Good understanding of people and employment obligationsGood knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations
n
- Experience or interest in change champion and project management
n
