About the Role
As our business is growing, we have opportunities for you to build a career with us as a farm hand within our team. Our farm hands are guided by the farm managers, on general farm hand duties related to row crop horticulture farming as well assisting in the running of the packing shed. Over time, as you develop, your duties will expand, and there will be opportunity for you to grow in the role and within the business.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ground preparation
- Crop tendering
- Assisting in shed operations
- The setup of irrigation
- Equipment maintenance
- Grounds maintenance
Over time your responsibilities could expand to include
- chemical and fertilizer application
- Tractor and farming equipment operations
- Spray operations
Ordinary Hours of Work are Monday - Friday but the position requires the candidate to have a level of flexibility which requires working after hours and weekends. The successful applicant with need to have the experience and skills in Irrigation,
Tractor Driving, Small Crop Production and General Farm Duties. Other favourable skills and qualification include Chemcert, Forklift Licence and HR Licence however a Current Driver Licence and the Current Right to work in Australia is essential to the role.

To be considered for this opportunity you must have:
Current Right to work in Australia is essential
Previous farming experience
Tractor and farm machinery operation experience
Forklift Ticket, HR License, Chemcert (desired)
Valuable physical fitness
Willingness to cope with a variable workload A strong work ethic and a high degree of integrity
Be able to work independently or as part of a team
Strong communication skills
Reliable transportation
