We are seeking a General Manager of Aged Care who has oversight of multi-service operations across residential and community aged care services who and can respond confidently to the changing environment while leading the delivery of high-quality, positive outcomes for residential, clients, and the organisation.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a pivotal leadership opportunity to shape quality, performance and culture. You'll drive service excellence and operational outcomes, build capable and engaged teams, and foster a positive culture focused on delivering outstanding services for older people.

- Lead and support managers to build capability, accountability and consistent performance across the operational portfolio.

About you:

- Significant senior leadership and operational experience within aged care, ideally across residential and home care services.
- Detailed knowledge of and expertise in clinical governance, aged care legislation, accreditation, quality standards, risk management and contemporary sector issues.
- The ability to oversee a broad operational portfolio while remaining connected to service delivery.
- Strong commercial acumen, including experience managing budgets, resources, performance and sustainability.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and managers, develop performance capability and foster a team-oriented and accountable culture.
- Gains buy-in from teams to effectively navigate change, and effectively implements continuous improvement strategies that stick.
- Able to operationalise strategic plans so that teams understand the contribution they are making towards achieving strategic priorities.
- Sound judgement and the confidence to make timely decisions in complex operational environments.
- High-level communication, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational capability and confidence using technology and operational systems.
- MUST HAVE current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
