Are you a commercially sharp, hands-on hotelier who thrives in the dynamic world of boutique and lifestyle hospitality?

Plan b Hospitality is looking for an energetic General Manager to on the leadership role at Quay Perth Hotel - an independently owned, 80-room boutique hotel located at Elizabeth Quay featuring two vibrant F&B; outlets and an integrated co-working space.

If you excel at leading from the front, enhancing guest experiences with solid financial performance, and bringing distinct brand identities to life, this is your stage.

What You’ll Do:

Reporting directly to Plan b Hospitality, you will take full ownership of the property’s performance, operations, and team culture:

· Drive Commercial Growth: Take charge of the P&L;, revenue strategies, and profitability across Rooms, F&B;, and Co-working operations.

· Lead from the Floor: Cultivate a high-performing, agile team through visible leadership, active mentoring, and a commitment to service excellence.

· Elevate Guest Experience: Maintain high operational standards while continuously refining our unique boutique offering.

· Build Community Connections: Forge strong ties with guests, local partners, suppliers, and the broader Perth market.

· Execute Strategy: Collaborate closely with Plan b Hospitality on strategic growth,



capital initiatives, and continuous process improvements.

What We’re Looking For:

· Proven Operator: Prior experience as a GM or strong Hotel Manager in a boutique, lifestyle, or high-end independent hotel setting.

· Financial Acumen: Direct experience managing hotel P&Ls;, budgets, and revenue optimization strategies.

· Hands-on Leadership Style: An approachable leader who enjoys being in the operation and inspiring a lean, dedicated team.

· Entrepreneurial Mindset: Comfortable making swift decisions, taking initiative, and operating with high autonomy.

· Local Presence: Based in Perth (or open to relocate to Western Australia).

· Right to work in Australia.
