Camden's Promise Charter School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Animal Sciences Teacher to join our team. As a Science Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students in various scientific disciplines. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners and foster their love for science.

Duties
n
n
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum.
n
- Teach students various scientific concepts, including but not limited to trigonometry, organic chemistry, differential equations, genetics, and more.
n
- Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations to enhance students' understanding of scientific principles.
n
- Utilize educational technology and resources to enhance the learning experience.
n
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
n
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities.
n
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and critical thinking.
n
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
n

Requirements
n
n
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field.
n
- Valid teaching certification in Science (or equivalent).
n
- Proven experience teaching science at the middle school or high school level.
n
- Strong knowledge of scientific concepts and principles across various disciplines.
n
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
n
- Ability to effectively engage students in the learning process.
n
- Proficient in lesson planning and curriculum development.
n
- Familiarity with educational technology tools and resources.
n
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
n
- Ability to create a protected and inclusive learning environment.
n

Compensation and Benefits
n
Salary: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year.
n
