The Opportunity

We are seeking a Progress Payments Administration Officer to join us on a fixed-term basis for 12 months to cover parental leave.

The Progress Payments Administration Officer provides administrative and operational support to the Progress Payments team in managing Development and Construction loans throughout each stage of construction.

Working closely with Progress Payments team, this role is responsible for supporting the preparation and processing of progress payment requests, maintaining accurate records, coordinating documentation, and assisting with stakeholder communications.

The role will also support the monitoring and management of construction loans where progress payment activity has ceased or reduced, assisting with borrower and stakeholder follow-up activities to ensure construction progress is tracked and loan records remain current.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation of progress payment files and documentation.

Monitor and manage team inboxes,



ensuring correspondence is allocated and actioned appropriately.

Prepare reports, spreadsheets and workflow tracking information.

Follow up outstanding documents from borrowers, builders, valuers and quantity surveyors.

Support the ordering of valuation and quantity surveyor reports.

Respond to general stakeholder enquiries and provide updates on progress payment requests.

Liaise professionally with borrowers, brokers, builders, valuers and internal stakeholders.

Assist in identifying loans requiring further review, valuation updates or stakeholder engagement.

Support process improvement initiatives and system enhancements where required.

About You

The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will also possess the following experience/skills:

You are a highly motivated and numerically minded individual who:

Previous administration, banking, finance or customer service experience preferred.

Experience working in a fast-paced operational setting.

Strong organisational and time management skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.





Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

Competent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook and Excel.

Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.

Demonstrates a strong customer service focus.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
