Our client is a leading HVAC and building services contractor with a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality mechanical solutions across commercial, healthcare, data centre, infrastructure and industrial projects throughout NSW.
n Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Sydney team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically robust engineer to play a key role in the design, delivery and successful execution of complex HVAC projects from concept through to commissioning.
n Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for the design, coordination and technical delivery of HVAC systems across a diverse range of projects. You will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, consultants and clients to ensure designs meet project requirements, Australian Standards and budget objectives.
n As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be:

- Designing HVAC systems in accordance with NCC requirements and Australian Standards
n
- Producing,



reviewing and coordinating design documentation, drawings and technical submissions
n
- Providing technical guidance and support to drafting teams
n
- Conducting design reviews and design checks for secured projects
n
- Assessing subcontractor and supplier submissions for technical compliance
n
- Supporting project delivery teams throughout installation, testing and commissioning phases
n
- Providing engineering solutions to technical and design challenges
n
- Managing project documentation including drawings, specifications and reports
n

We would love to talk to people with experience as a HVAC Design Engineer, Senior HVAC Design Engineer, Mechanical Designer or Senior Mechanical Engineer within HVAC. If you have experience on projects including healthcare, data centres and infrastructure with values from $10 million and over we would like to hear from you. Design & Construct experience is a must

Salary for this role is $140-180K plus super depending on experience
