We have an exciting Senior Auditor opportunity to join our Brisbane Audit team. BDO's Audit practice is a major player within the local marketplace, auditing many of Australia's leading public and private sector organisations across a diverse industry base. Key Responsibilities
n

- Execute audits for large proprietary and listed companies ranging in size and industry
n
- Complete planning sections of audit files without supervision
n
- Work with other teams to collaborate and develop financial audit strategies and methodologies for our clients
n
- Work closely with the manager on the engagement identifying potential problem areas or budget difficulties
n
- Coordinate engagements without manager assistance, reporting directly to partner where appropriate
n
- Awareness of reporting and regulatory requirements across a variety of frameworks
n
- Analysis and documentation of internal controls and control environments
n
- Draft management letters and completion reports
n
- Coach and mentor junior colleagues and build internal relationships
n
- Liaise with clients and identify future opportunities
n

About You
n
n
- Previous external audit experience in a professional services firm
n
- CA/CPA qualification (or working towards)
n
- Exceptional attention to detail
n
- Experience in reviewing General Purpose accounts, including listed entities
n
- Ability to identify scope and solve problems
n
n
