Job Description
We are looking for a passionate Technical Trainer to join our team and support the development of technical capability across our national dealership network. As a Technical Trainer, you will design, develop and deliver engaging technical and non-technical training programs that equip our internal teams and dealership staff with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.

About the Role
n
n
- Deliver engaging technical and non-technical training programs, both in person and online.
n
- Develop, review and maintain high-quality training materials and course content.
n
- Manage and support our online learning platform, including learner administration and training records.
n
- Assist in the planning and coordination of the national training schedule.
n
- Conduct training needs analysis and maintain training documentation and reporting.
n
- Review and continuously improve training programs, materials and delivery methods.
n
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and deliver training solutions aligned to business needs.
n
- Support dealerships in meeting training policies, procedures and compliance requirements.
n
- Liaise with external training providers where required.
n
- Assist in the development of technical documentation and training content for new vehicle models.
n
- Maintain training facilities and equipment to ensure a safe and effective learning environment.
n
- Stay up to date with emerging automotive technologies and industry best practice.
n

About You
n
n
- An Automotive Mechanical or Automotive Electrical Trade Qualification.
n
- Demonstrated experience working with EV and hybrid vehicle technology.
n
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in an automotive technical training role.
n
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics and repair procedures.
n
- Excellent presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
n
- The ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders, including remote teams.
n
- A proactive, organised and accountable approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
n
- Dealership experience will be highly regarded.
n
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) is desirable.
n
