n Salary: $80,000 base + $10,000 travel allowance

About The Role

Join Cater Care as a Relief Chef Manager and bring your culinary expertise and leadership skills to a variety of sites across Victoria.

n

Supporting locations across Aged Care, Education, Hospitals, Business & Industry, Residential Facilities and Youth Justice Centres, you'll step into different kitchens, support teams, maintain high food standards and ensure smooth daily operations.

n

This is a unique chance to enjoy the stability of a full-time role while experiencing the variety of working across different locations, teams and catering environments. Regular travel and overnight stays across regional Victoria and metropolitan Melbourne are required.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

n

- Lead kitchen operations across multiple Cater Care sites throughout Victoria
n
- Prepare high-quality meals,



including texture-modified foods
n
- Manage food production, labour resources and kitchen performance
n
- Maintain food safety, compliance and quality standards
n
- Support and develop kitchen teams to deliver exceptional service
n

Desired Skills and Experience

n

About You

n

n
- Experienced Chef Manager or kitchen leader with strong operational skills
n
- Adaptable and confident working across fast-paced, multi-site environments
n
- Comfortable balancing hands-on cooking with kitchen operations and cost control
n
- Experience in aged care catering, texture-modified meals or multi-site catering is highly regarded
n
- Strong communication, leadership and computer skills with a focus on quality service
n

n

What You'll Need

n

n
- Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
n
- Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
n
- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
n
- Ability to obtain a Working With Children Check and National Police Check
n
- Flexibility to travel and work across different locations and sectors
n
