The Role

n

Drive direct merchant acquisition across Victoria by calling pre-qualified retail and hospitality venues, delivering quick phone pitches, and executing live app activations on their existing POS terminals (e.g. Clover).

This is a high-volume, fast-cycle outbound sales role built for a high-energy hunter who thrives on closing on the spot.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Execute 50+ targeted outbound dials daily to venue owners and managers during off-peak trade hours.
n




- Conduct rapid 3-minute phone demos and activate merchants live on their existing POS hardware.
n
- Run multi-touch follow-up sequences (Call/SMS) to close short-cycle pilot cohorts.
n
- Confidently pivot common objections (e.g., "send me an email") into immediate product walk-throughs.
n

Requirements

n

- 1–3 years in outbound sales, cold calling, or field sales (POS, merchant services, payments, SaaS, or hospitality tech experience preferred).
n
- Sharp phone presence capable of hooking busy venue owners within 10 seconds.
n
- High autonomy, comfortable in rapid-paced sprints, and driven by performance-based incentives.
