The Role

We are seeking a dependable, experienced HC Truck Driver to join our team. You’ll be responsible for safely transporting and delivering portable buildings of various sizes to regional and metropolitan locations.

This is a hands-on transport role you’ll need to plan routes, secure loads, communicate with site contacts, and ensure deliveries are completed to schedule and with zero damage.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive an HC-class heavy vehicle to transport oversized modular and portable buildings
- Safely load, secure and restrain cargo for transport
- Conduct pre-trip, on-route,



and post-trip inspections
- Plan fuel stops, routes and schedule to meet delivery timelines
- Coordinate with dispatch and site personnel before and during deliveries
- Ensure all paperwork, permits and compliance documentation are accurate
- Maintain the vehicle in a clean and serviceable condition

What We’re Looking For

- Valid HC Licence (mandatory)
- Proven experience delivering large, oversized or modular freight (preferably transportable buildings)
- A clean driving record and strong safety mindset
- Excellent time management, reliability and professionalism
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills — polite and customer-friendly
- Comfortable with regional travel and occasional interstate trips

Preferred / Advantageous

- Load restraint training
- Heavy vehicle inspection knowledge
- Previous experience with transportable buildings / modular delivery
- Working knowledge of compliance requirements (NHVR, CoR, fatigue management)
