We are representing a leading and rapidly expanding data center developer seeking a Head of Data Center Operations to oversee the operational performance, reliability, and growth of a large-scale portfolio of mission-critical facilities.

This is a highly strategic executive leadership role, suited to an individual who can build and lead world-class operations teams, drive operational excellence across multiple sites, and develop the long-term operational strategy for a growing data center platform. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping the future of the business, ensuring the highest standards of uptime, customer experience, safety, and operational governance.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the overall operational strategy and performance of a portfolio of Data Centers across multiple locations.
n
- Build and manage a high-performing operations organisation encompassing facility operations, engineering, maintenance, critical environments, capacity planning, and operational readiness.
n
- Ensure the highest levels of uptime, resiliency, compliance, and service delivery across all facilities.
n
- Develop and implement operational standards, policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
n
- Oversee critical infrastructure operations including electrical, mechanical, controls, and life safety systems.
n
- Drive operational readiness for current facility launches, expansions, and capacity deployments.
n




- Lead vendor and service-provider management, ensuring strong performance, accountability, and value creation.
n
- Partner closely with construction, development, engineering, customer success, and executive leadership teams to support the company's growth strategy.
n
- Establish and monitor KPIs, operational reporting, risk management frameworks, and business continuity programs.
n
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

n

n
- 10+ years of experience within critical infrastructure, mission-critical environments, data centers, telecommunications, utilities, or comparable industries.
n
- Extensive experience leading operations for large-scale, multi-site facilities or infrastructure portfolios.
n
- Proven track record managing business-critical operations with stringent uptime and reliability requirements.
n
- Strong understanding of critical electrical and mechanical systems, operational risk management, maintenance programs, and incident response.
n
- Demonstrated experience building and leading senior operational leadership teams.
n
- Experience developing operational strategy, governance frameworks, and long-term capacity planning initiatives.
n
- Exceptional stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills.
n
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
