About the Role

n

We are seeking a Data Engineering Tech Lead to drive the strategic and technical development of an enterprise-wide Azure Data Platform.

n

In this role, you will:

n

- Lead the technical direction for the Azure Data Platform.
n
- Design, develop, and implement scalable, reusable data pipelines.
n
- Drive best practices in data engineering, including metadata management, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps.
n
- Provide technical leadership and mentor a team of data engineers.
n
- Work closely with stakeholders, software vendors, and project teams to deliver business value.
n

What We're Looking For:

n

n




- 10+ years of data engineering experience.
n
- Extensive experience using Azure tools such as Synapse, Fabric, Snowflake (or similar), and traditional ETL tools.
n
- Solid expertise in Python (PySpark), SQL, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
n
- Experience with data modelling and metadata-driven pipeline development.
n
- Knowledge of modern Lakehouse architectures and cloud-based platforms like Snowflake.
n
- A track record of mentoring teams and driving technical excellence.
n
- Financial services or insurance industry experience is highly regarded.
n
