A leading travel company is seeking an experienced sales leader to drive its sales organisation across Australia and Current Zealand. You will develop and implement sales & distribution strategies across the Pacific to achieve revenue targets, growth objectives and profitability. You'll build and lead a high‐performing sales team, identify new business opportunities, and maintain key client relationships across corporate and travel agent channels.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop short and mid‐term sales strategies and annual plans to achieve growth, revenue and market share targets
n
- Analyse market trends and customer needs to drive innovation and ensure the correct sales mix
n
- Build and lead a high‐performing sales team with coaching, mentoring and succession planning
n
- Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and partners, negotiating contracts and long‐term commercial deals
n
- Provide sales forecasts and performance analysis monthly, quarterly and annually
n
- Drive digital transformation and sales automation initiatives
n
- Foster relationships within the travel industry through active participation in industry events
n
n

- Strong analytical capabilities with experience in data analysis and reporting

- Proven ability to set long‐term goals and define market plans
n
- Confidence and influence over stakeholders with strong negotiation skills

Experience Required
n
n
- 10 years in sales leadership across multiple geographic locations, with at least 4 years in Business Development/Account Management
n
- Experience in both B2B and B2C sales
n
- Ability to manage complex corporate customers
n
- Strong commercial acumen with financial forecasting and budgeting experience
n
