Matrix Education is now hiring casual VCE Physics Teachers to join us at our Box Hill campus.

n

This role is ideal for anyone who is a subject matter expert who can explain things clearly, and is passionate about their area of expertise! Our team is a diverse group of high school Teachers, corporate professionals, educational outreach staff, university teaching staff and post graduate university students.

n

Classes are available after school from 4:30pm on weekdays or from 9:00am on weekends at our fabulous Box Hill location.

n

You will have the opportunity to work with a fun and talented team in a excellent work environment. Minimal lesson preparation is required as lessons and resources are provided for you.

What you'll do...

n

n




- Teaching regular weekly classes throughout the academic term (all lesson materials and resources are prepared for you),
n
- Teaching opportunities available on weekdays during the VIC school holiday period,
n
- Ongoing monitoring of student's academic progress through marking of short weekly homework pieces,
n
- Flagging of struggling students to academic team leaders for additional academic mentoring.

What you'll need...

n

n
- Possess a genuine passion for teaching,
n
- Previous experience teaching secondary Physics or STEM subjects in a classroom setting,
n
- Have extensive knowledge of the current VCE curriculum in Physics,
n
- Have completed your degree in Education or a related discipline.
