Blitz Bradmac Heating & Cooling is looking for a high quality, ambitious HVAC Project Estimator to join the New Build Project team at Airport West. The role focuses on building strong professional relationships with builders and architects, generating new business opportunities, and managing commercial HVAC projects from estimation through delivery.
Key responsibilities
Hold strong and sustained professional relationships with a network of active builders and architects
Generate current business opportunities through network leverage and proactive sales actions
Interpret technical drawings, specifications and contractual documentation
Co-ordinate system design with builders and architects
Liaise with customers, contractors, site managers, installers for project planning and implementation
Prepare accurate project costings, quotes, proposals and documentation
Research products and materials to meet project needs and financial parameters
Manage the financial performance of a project to ensure budgets are met and margins retained
Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards and company procedures/policy
Maintain current, accurate and high-quality communication pathways around project progression and potential variations
Experience in designing light commercial HVAC system/projects, installation practices and standards
Successfully priced and delivered HVAC projects to $1,000,000
Detailed understanding of construction processes within the light commercial sector including systems and HVAC detailing
High level of customer service responsiveness
Great written and verbal communication skills
Strong leadership capability with effective stakeholder management skills
