Overview

R6 Group is looking for a Senior Designer to join our in-house team at R6 Automate, the company behind award-winning software and automation products transforming the global self-storage industry.

n

This role is perfect for a designer who thrives in a fast-paced product environment, with a strong foundation in UI/UX design and the versatility to contribute to broader creative projects across marketing, brand, and trade events.

n

You'll collaborate closely with the Chief Design Officer, Product Managers, Product Marketing Manager, and Developers to design seamless digital experiences and maintain the visual quality of our products and brand.

n

As part of the R6 Group, you'll be backed by a full-service team offering design, marketing, and development capabilities, allowing you to bring ideas to life from concept through to delivery, all under one roof.

About You

n

- You're a hands-on designer who can move confidently between digital product design and marketing design.
n
- You have a strategic eye for design, able to connect creative thinking with business and user needs.
n
- You're proactive, detail-oriented, and can manage multiple priorities effectively.
n
- You thrive in a collaborative setting and are comfortable presenting work to internal teams and stakeholders.
n
- You're as comfortable designing complex interfaces as you are creating marketing collateral that makes an impact.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Design and maintain the UI and UX for R6 Automate's suite of digital products and apps.
n
- Build and evolve design systems to ensure visual consistency across platforms.
n
- Collaborate with Product Managers,



the Product Marketing Manager and Developers to bring new product features to life.
n
- Support marketing and brand efforts, including trade show materials, campaign graphics, and presentations.
n
- Ensure design output aligns with brand standards and communicates clearly across digital and physical touchpoints.
n
- Report directly to the Chief Design Officer and work cross-functionally with teams across the R6 Group.
n

Requirements

n

n
- 3+ years of experience in an agency or in-house design role (preferably with exposure to digital products or SaaS).
n
- Advanced skills in Figma, with strong understanding of components, auto-layout, variables, and design systems.
n
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Motion design or 3D experience is a plus.
n
- Solid understanding of UX principles, wireframing, and user flow design.
n
- Ability to take ownership of projects and see them through from concept to delivery.
n
- Excellent attention to detail, layout, and typography skills.
n
- Strong communication and presentation abilities, confident explaining design rationale.
n
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment with developers, marketers, and leadership.
n
- Familiarity with responsive design, accessibility, and usability best practices.
n
- Experience creating or maintaining brand systems and applying them across multiple platforms.
