Knox Private Hospital is seeking an Orderly to join our team on a casual basis. You will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and be committed to high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction in a fast‐paced and varied environment.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Patient assistance and transfers, including use of lifting machine and bed movers
n
- General housekeeping duties: cleaning beds, organising linen, restocking equipment, and waste management
n
- Assist clinical staff with patient needs
n
- Remove dirty linen and ensure clean linen is readily available
n
- Operate in line with WHS policy and procedures
n
- Cultivate a hospitable and friendly environment for all patients
n
- Act as an active team member to support all work tasks
n

Qualifications

n

n




- Authority to work in Australia
n
- Experience as an orderly or in a hospital environment (desirable)
n
- Vaccination and serology records prior to commencement
n
- Working with Children check
n
- Commitment to service excellence
n
- Ability to prioritise and organise work with minimal supervision
n
- Ability to work in a rapid‐paced environment
n
- High level attention to detail
n
