Our Client is a National food manufacturer seeking a State Sales Manager to lead its South Australian sales function.

Job Description

- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market growth.
- Manage and lead a small high-performing sales team, providing guidance and support.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Managing key customer relationships and leading strategic commercial negotiations.
- Taking ownership of account profitability and P&L; performance.
- Developing and executing state sales plans to achieve revenue and margin targets.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of sales staff.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align sales objectives with broader company goals.





The Successful Applicant

A successful State Sales Manager - should have:

- Proven experience in Key Account Management within the food retail industry.
- Robust leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to analyse sales data, category performances, and pricing index and market trends to inform decision-making.
- Strong organisational skills with a focus on achieving targets and deadlines.
- Knowledge of compliance and industry regulations related to retail sales.
