Paragon Talent Solutions has been engaged to assist an Australian-owned provider of electrical and industrial automation solutions who support clients across several industrial sectors.

n

Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Control Systems Service Engineer to join their team based in Western Sydney.

n

This position will primarily focus on remote monitoring, troubleshooting and technical support of client automation systems, with site visits required when issues cannot be resolved remotely.

n

This opportunity will suit engineers who enjoy solving technical problems, supporting live operational systems and working closely with clients to ensure automation platforms remain reliable and efficient.

n

The Position

n

As a Control Systems Service Engineer, you will support the ongoing operation and reliability of industrial control systems across a range of client sites.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Monitoring, maintaining and troubleshooting PLC and SCADA systems remotely
n
- Diagnosing and resolving control system faults and operational issues
n
- Supporting the optimisation and reliability of automation platforms
n
- Providing technical support and advice to clients
n
- Escalating complex issues and collaborating with internal engineering teams
n
- Attending client sites when faults cannot be resolved remotely
n




- Supporting minor upgrades, configuration changes and system improvements
n

n

Your Experience

n

To be considered for this position, you will likely have experience working within industrial automation, system integrators or service engineering environments.

n

You may currently be working for a systems integrator, OEM automation provider or engineering consultancy supporting control systems in operational environments.

n

You will also possess:

n

n
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or similar
n
- Strong competence with PLC and SCADA technologies
n
- Experience troubleshooting industrial control systems in live environments
n
- Exposure to platforms such as Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Ignition or similar
n
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving capabilities
n
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to support clients effectively
n

- Salary package $90K – $110K + Super depending on experience
n
