About the Role

n

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Development Manager to oversee and manage our research and project operations. The successful candidate will lead a team of researchers and project managers and will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality research projects that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders. He will be assisting and reporting to the National Research Manager.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Decide on research and development strategies, policies and plans.
n
- Develop and implement research projects, priorities and targets.
n
- Lead the planning and execution of research projects.
n
- Assess the benefits and cost effectiveness of research and development activities.
n
- Interpret research results and recommend product and service development innovations.
n
- Manage a team of researchers and coordinate with project managers.
n
- Ensure that research projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
n
- Give advice on research and development options.
n
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
n
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure the efficient running of the Department Manage project risks, issues, and changes.
n
- Monitor the latest developments in the industry and evaluate the implications.
n
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

Qualifications/Experience

n

n
- Either a bachelor's degree in business, research, or a related field with 2+ years' full-time experience in research and project operations management or a related field, or five years' full-time relevant experience in lieu pf qualifications.
n
- Proven track record of successfully managing research projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
n
- Experience in developing and implementing operational policies and procedures.
n
- Experience in managing budgets and financial resources.
n
