Great opportunity to get on board with some of Melbourne's most prominent civil construction groups. JV Recruitment has a massive push on Civil Construction with multiple projects starting throughout Melbourne's Western suburbs, including Yarraville, Laverton North, Melton and Port Melbourne.

There are various roles ranging from labourers to leading hands. Labourers require a minimum of 12 months experience in civil construction. Leading hand roles are for experienced labourers with machine operating tickets looking to progress their career.

Compensation & Benefits

n

n
- $36.67 - $40 per hour (experience/role dependent) + super + coinvest
n
- Meal allowance included (over 9.5 hours on a shift)
n
- Additional Travel allowance ($22.98 per day)
n
- Time and a half and double-time rates paid for overtime
n
- On‐going roles
n
- Immediate start positions
n

Role Duties

n

n
- Labouring duties include working alongside plant operators and site management,



using a variety of tools; tasks such as running conduits, assisting plant operators and pit works.
n
- Leading hand duties can vary: assisting in labouring duties, operating plant (with relevant tickets), running small teams of labourers and liaising with site management to plan future works.
n

Key Requirements

- White Card
n
- Full Australian work rights

- Must be able to work well within a team workplace
n
- 12 months construction experience is essential

- Background in civil construction
n
- Full PPE
n
- Relevant machinery tickets desired but not essential
n
- Transport is desirable but not essential
