Financial Controller Opportunity
n
We are seeking a highly capable Financial Controller to join the business and lead a small finance team, providing guidance and support across all core finance activities. This role is ideal for a commercially minded and technically strong accounting professional who enjoys hands‐on leadership, driving process improvement and supporting a growing organisation through complex and interesting work.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Deliver accurate and timely financial, management and project reporting.
n
- Lead month end processes, reconciliations, accruals and Board reporting.
n
- Oversee financial and management accounting, AP, AR, BAS and project reporting.
n
- Manage intra‐group allocations and key reconciliations, including debt, hedge and interest accounts.
n
- Coordinate budgets and forecasts and provide performance insights.
n
- Maintain the corporate financial model, including long‐term forecasting, scenario planning and WACC.
n
- Monitor cash flow and recommend improvements.
n
- Oversee inventory management and stocktake processes.
n
- Lead and develop the finance team to ensure strong delivery.
n
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, audit requirements and internal controls.
n
- Identify financial risks and drive process and system improvements.
n
- Partner with senior leaders and support the CFO on key initiatives.

About You
n
You are a technically strong and forward‐thinking leader who enjoys a hands‐on role. You bring a balance of detail orientation and commercial perspective and can confidently manage complex reporting, financial models, auditors and high‐pressure deadlines such as year end and half year.

You Will Also Bring
n
n
- CA or CPA qualification.
n
- At least five years experience in a similar Financial Controller or senior accounting role.
n
- Demonstrated capability in statutory reporting, audit, valuations, forecasting and financial modelling.
n
- Robust analytical skills and business acumen.
n
- Ability to mentor and continuously develop a finance team.
n
- Experience with Technology One will be highly regarded but is not essential.
n
