We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Cardiology Services Administrator to join our team on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm.
In this role, you will provide exceptional administrative support and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Cardiology Department, ensuring the timely release of patient results, effective inventory and equipment management, and the smooth coordination of departmental processes. The successful candidate will possess strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a healthcare environment. Previous experience in medical administration or healthcare settings will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Cardiology Department including but not limited to timely release of ECG, Holter and ABP patient results, department and collection procedures, ordering and inventory management, equipment and devices, support and troubleshooting, quality improvement initiatives and projects as required.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise work and meet deadlines.
- The ability to work autonomously and as an effective member of a team.
- Moderate to advanced computer literacy with demonstrated ability in Microsoft Office applications and the willingness to learn various Cardiology-specific applications. On the job training is provided.
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a high standard of work.
- Previous experience in a healthcare, medical administration or pathology setting is desirable.
