We are currently recruiting for multiple Electrician positions to join our proactive Electrical Maintenance Team. This role is primarily day work, 7.00 am-3.30 pm, however, given the nature of the role, shift work may be required.

About the Role

n

As an Electrician, you will possess the skills necessary to carry out electrical maintenance, capital for a factory/plant to meet maintenance targets, goals and objectives. The successful applicants will be required to:

n

n
- Carrying out mill plant maintenance and capital works. Plant items include wiring, circuitry, mills, turbines, fugals, conveyors, carriers, pumps, fans, gearboxes, motors, and vessels.
n
- Working as part of a maintenance crew to meet production and maintenance targets.
n
- Using condition monitoring techniques to maintain equipment reliability.
n
- Completing electrical project work to improve plant performance.
n
- Actively supporting Workplace Health and Safety initiatives.
n

What We Are Looking For

n

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, the electricians will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and diagnosing faults/repairs across a range of electrical systems, including:

n

n
- General plant wiring, lighting, and circuitry
n
- Motor starters and variable speed drives (VSDs)
n
- Electrical components specific to sugar milling operations
n

n

Experience with computerised maintenance systems and assisting with plant improvement projects will be highly regarded.

n

Must hold a Queensland Electrical Licence endorsed as Electrical Fitter Mechanic, Electrical Mechanic, or equivalent

n
