ALH Recruitment is partnering with a leading civil contractor to recruit motivated labourers for ongoing road maintenance and infrastructure projects based out of Gympie.

Duties





- Assist with spray seal and asphalt operations
- Raking, shovelling and spreading materials
- Loading and unloading plant, equipment and materials
- Drive crew trucks between depots and project sites
- Assist plant operators and spray crews
- General civil and road construction labouring
- Set up and pack down work sites
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

No spray seal experience? No worries.
If you've got a solid work ethic, enjoy hands-on work and are keen to learn a specialist trade, full on-the-job training will be provided.

Essential Requirements:

- Construction White Card (Essential)
- Current Driver Licence and reliable transport
- Able to work Day Shift, Night Shift and Away Work when required
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical
- Able to pass Drug & Alcohol Screening

Desirable Tickets & Experience

- Previous Spray Seal or Asphalt experience
- Civil Construction experience
- Roller, Skid Steer or Excavator tickets
- Traffic Control tickets
- Working at Heights
- Confined Space
- HR Truck Licence
- Plant operating experience
