The role:

CCSG Group is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Head of People & Culture to lead our people strategy, workforce initiatives, work health and safety (WHS) and organisational development programs across the Group.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer and as a member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our workforce, culture, safety, and leadership capability. This is an opportunity to make a genuine impact, not simply manage HR processes, but influence strategic direction, build organisational capability, drive a strong safety culture and help create an environment where our people and business can thrive.

You will balance strategic leadership with operational excellence, partnering with leaders across the organisation to drive employee engagement, performance, talent development, workplace health and safety, compliance and organisational effectiveness.

We operate on a hybrid working model, with up to two days working from home each week. Our preference is for employees to work primarily from our Sydney CBD office, where collaboration, connection and knowledge sharing are an key part of our culture.

Responsibilities In this role, you will:





- Partnering with the Executive Leadership Team to provide strategic people, WHS and workforce advice that supports business objectives.
- Leading the development and execution of CCSG's People & Culture strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and growth plans.
- Driving workforce planning initiatives to ensure the business has the right capability, talent and structure to support future success.
- Providing expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, workplace investigations and complex people matters.

Leading the Group’s WHS strategy and framework, ensuring compliance with legislative obligations, effective risk and incident management, workers compensation and return to work processes, and a proactive safety culture.
- Leading initiatives to strengthen organisational culture, employee engagement, wellbeing and retention.
- Overseeing talent acquisition, onboarding and employer branding strategies to attract and retain high performing employees.
- Driving succession planning, leadership development and career pathway initiatives across the Group.
- Monitoring workforce metrics and people analytics to identify trends and provide data-driven recommendations to Executive Leadership.
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, Fair Work requirements, WHS legislation, workplace policies and regulatory obligations.
- Supporting organisational change programs and business transformation initiatives through effective change management practices.
- Coaching and developing leaders to build strong people leadership and safety capability and accountability.
- Leading and developing the People & Culture team while promoting a positive, high performance, safe and values-driven culture.

Requirements

What we are looking for

- 7–10 years' experience in senior Human Resources or People & Culture leadership roles.
- Demonstrated experience leading People & Culture functions within medium to large organisations.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Management, Psychology,



Organisational Development or a related discipline.
- Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Fair Work requirements, WHS legislation and contemporary HR practices.
- Proven experience developing and implementing People & Culture strategies aligned to business objectives.
- Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, workplace investigations and performance management.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing WHS frameworks, risk management, incident management and workers compensation/return to work processes.
- Experience designing and implementing workforce planning, talent management and organisational development frameworks.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing and relationship building skills.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance people, safety and business outcomes.
- Experience operating within highly regulated environments is advantageous.
- A pragmatic, solutions focused approach with strong leadership capability and emotional intelligence.
