About The Opportunity The Health and Security Assistant will assist in ensuring the security and safety of all staff, patients and visitors and the protection of property as well as assisting with a range of other patient-focused duties such as cleaning, patient support and administrative tasks as required.

This role operates on a 24-hour, 7-day rotating roster.

About You

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Confidence using computers and security systems.
- NSW Security Licence (Class 1A) and First Aid Certificate.
- A current driver’s licence and is willing to travel as needed (including long distances).
- A current NSW Working with Children Check.
- A current National Police Check.
- Vaccination Category A compliance (as required by NSW Health).
- Availability and willingness to work a 24-hour, 7-day rotating roster.
- Ability to work independently and perform duties with minimal supervision.
- Ability to understand and apply relevant legislation, policy and skilled standards.
- Resilience and composure when interacting with distressed, aggressive, or unpredictable individuals, including those affected by drugs, alcohol or mental illness.
