Role Description This is a part time remote Helpdesk Engineer role focused on providing technical support to internal teams and clients.

The Helpdesk

Engineer will respond to support tickets, diagnose issues, and resolve problems related to desktops, laptops, and peripherals. Daily tasks include troubleshooting software and hardware problems, providing help desk support through email and chat, and maintaining clear documentation of incidents and resolutions. The role also involves printer support, basic network connectivity checks, and escalation of complex issues to senior technical staff as needed. Collaboration with other team members, clear communication, and a customer-centered approach are essential.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Technical Support and Help Desk Support skills, including experience handling user inquiries and resolving common IT issues.




- Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing software, hardware, and connectivity problems efficiently.
- Candidates should possess practical experience with Printer Support, including setup, configuration, and resolving print errors.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Computer Hardware, including installing, upgrading, and replacing components.
- Additional qualifications: familiarity with remote support tools, basic networking concepts, clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to prioritize multiple tickets.
- Relevant certifications (such as CompTIA A+ or similar) and prior experience in a helpdesk or IT support role are beneficial.
