When you join MercyCare, you become part of something bigger than a job. You join a community of people who show up for Western Australians at the moments that matter most – from early learning and disability support, to family, community and aged care services. We live by our values of respect, integrity, compassion, justice, excellence and courage, and we are committed to safeguarding and protecting children, young people and vulnerable people in our community.
About the role
Think of yourself as the master of the roster. You’ll coordinate staff rosters, allocate shifts and juggle changing scheduling needs, sometimes with the speed of a game of Tetris! You’ll keep things running smoothly, solve problems as they pop up, and make sure client and staff information stays accurate and up to date across our systems.
No two days will be exactly the same, so you’ll need to enjoy a little variety and be ready to think on your feet. We work with a rotating roster across the team, including early and late starts.
About you
You’ll enjoy a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment where no two days are quite the same. Calm under pressure, solution focused and highly organised, you’ll bring a genuine customer service mindset and enjoy working collaboratively to find practical solutions. Your key experience will include:
- Rostering experience, ideally within aged care or community services
- Robust attention to detail, accuracy and time management
- Initiative and confident problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite and online systems capability
- Certificate III in Office Administration, Business or equivalent (desirable)
- Availability to participate in an on-call and weekend rotating roster
- National Police Clearance obtained within the last six months
About the benefits You’ll become part of an inclusive, Western Australian organisation committed to making a difference in our local communities. Our MercyCare Promise ensures our people are connected and empowered to make a difference in the heart of our communities. You’ll also enjoy access to:
- Not for profit Salary Packaging options up to $18,000
- Childcare discounts for your little ones
- Options to purchase additional leave
- Career Pathways, Professional Development and Training
- Comprehensive Wellbeing Program including discounted health insurance and free flu vaccinations
