Role Description The Horizon Club Food and Beverage Attendant is a full-time, on-site role based at Shangri-La Sydney in NSW. This position supports daily food and beverage operations at the Horizon Club Lounge (Executive Lounge) ensuring guests receive attentive and professional service.

Responsibilities include welcoming the guest, setting up and clearing tables, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting with bar operation. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in service areas, coordinating with the kitchen team,



and adhering to safety and quality standards. The Food and Beverage Attendant also responds to guest requests, provides menu guidance, and contributes to a welcoming and efficient dining environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Food & Beverage and Food Service, with experience in restaurant, bar, or hotel dining environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in understanding food & beverage safety practices.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with diverse guests and team members.
- Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, or fine dining service is highly regarded.
- Knowledge of hygiene standards, responsible service of alcohol (RSA), and workplace safety requirements is beneficial.
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, and to stand for extended periods.
