Karralyka is a 410-seat theatrelocatedjust 30 minutes from the Melbourne CBD, in Ringwood East. This dynamic venue includes both theatre and function spaces and hosts a variety of events from skilled touring productions to intimate cabaret performances and local community productions.

There is currentlyan opening foranexperiencedProduction Supervisor to join theKarralykaProductionTeam. This is apart-timepositionwith variable hoursthat requires availability to work weeknights and weekends regularly.

The Production Supervisor is a leading member of the Production Teamand looks after all aspects of technical production, including audio, lighting, rigging,staging,and visionsystems within the venue.

Successful applicants will work in all areaswithinKarralyka, including performances in the theatre, events in the function rooms, and other venues including outdoor events. The ability tomaintainhigh standards of OH&Sin; accordance withpolicies and procedures is required.

Successful applicant must have:

n

n




- Diploma in Technical Theatre/Live Production or equivalent qualification
n
- Demonstrated experience in working a professional theatre, excellent customerservice and client relationship management skills
n
- Experiencedesigning andoperatingliveproduction systems, including audio, lighting,visionand rigging systems
n
- Experienceleading and developinga team oftheatre technicians
n
- Experiencewithevents management and rostering software
n
- An excellent work ethic with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
n
- Strong administration and time-management skillsin high pressure environments
n
- You must be able to work a variety of hours including weekends asrequired
n
