Job Description

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team for an initial 6 month contract to assist with delivering an emergency management CRM system to streamline processes and improve service delivery.

This position will require you to oversee the end-to-end delivery of this project and ensure proposed solutions are aligned with the approved business case, effective governance, and successful implementation of agile practices.

Typical Responsibilities

n

- Develop and maintain project plans, governance frameworks, and ensure compliance with business objectives.
n
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and manage backlog, sprint progress, and velocity metrics.
n
- Maintain a risk register, proactively identify and mitigate risks, and elevate issues when required.
n
- Monitor project finances and schedules to ensure delivery within approved constraints.
n
- Provide weekly and monthly project status reports, including risks, issues, and dependencies.
n
- Prepare executive dashboards and summaries for governance forums such as the Steering Committee.

Key Selection Criteria

n

n




- Demonstrated experience working as a Project Manager within the government sector (federal or state).
n
- Experience working in complex ICT environments.
n
- Robust background in formal project management methodologies (PRINCE2 or PMBOK).
n
- Proven Agile Project Management/Scrum Master experience, including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and stakeholder engagement.
n
- Ability to manage the full project lifecycle, from planning through to operational handover.
n
- Experience leading multi-functional teams across Business Analysis, Architecture (Solution, Security, Data, Infrastructure), Development, and Testing.
n
- Extensive experience in software development and/or COTS implementation.
n
- Hands‐on experience managing project budgets and forecasts, delivering projects within approved financial parameters.
