We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Brisbane. This is a outstanding opportunity for a reliable and skilled operator looking for consistent work, a supportive team environment and the opportunity to work across a variety of projects.
You will be responsible for operating excavators safely and efficiently while supporting the wider site team to ensure projects are completed to a high standard.
Key responsibilities
- Safely operate excavators across various worksites
- Carry out excavation, trenching, loading and general earthworks
- Assist with site preparation and clean-up
- Follow plans, site instructions and safety procedures
- Conduct daily equipment checks and report any issues
- Work closely with other operators and site personnel
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Complete work efficiently and to a high standard
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience operating excavators
- Experience in civil, construction or earthmoving environments
- Strong understanding of safe operating procedures
- Ability to read and follow site plans and instructions
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work independently when required
- Relevant tickets or licences
- White Card preferred
