Lina Rooftop is looking for an experienced and confident Full time Host to join our front-of-house team in South Brisbane.
As a Host, you will be responsible for managing the guest arrival experience and helping coordinate the flow of the venue throughout service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Welcoming and seating guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Managing daily reservations and table allocations
- Using SevenRooms to manage bookings, guest profiles and table movements
- Answering phone calls and assisting with reservation enquiries
- Managing walk-ins, waitlists and last-minute booking changes
- Communicating closely with managers and the floor team regarding table availability and guest requirements
- Monitoring booking times and helping maintain smooth table turnover
- Assisting with large groups, functions and special requests
- Providing guests with information about the venue, menus and upcoming events
- Handling guest concerns professionally and escalating them to management when required
- Maintaining an organised and presentable host desk and entrance area
- Delivering a high standard of service from arrival through to departure
We’re looking for someone who is organised, confident, well-presented and comfortable working in a busy, fastpaced venue. Previous experience in a host, reservations or front-of-house role is highly regarded. This is a full-time position, with availability across evenings and weekends required.
Pay: $55,000.00 – $62,000.00 per year
