We're seeking an experienced and commercially astute Hotel General Manager to lead our iconic Sydney CBD property and shape its next chapter of success.

The Opportunity

Perfectly located in the heart of Sydney, Vibe Hotel Sydney is a energetic, full-service hotel featuring:

- 198 contemporary guest rooms and suites
- Flexible conference and event facilities for up to 200 delegates
- The popular Storehouse Sydney Central Café &
- Bar

- Rooftop pool and fitness centre
- A diverse mix of corporate, conference and leisure guests

Reporting to the Area General Manager, you'll have full accountability for hotel performance, guest satisfaction, team engagement and owner relationships. This is a highly visible senior leadership role where you'll drive operational excellence, commercial growth and a high-performing culture.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Leading Hotel Performance

- Deliver strong commercial outcomes across revenue, profitability, market share and guest satisfaction
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to maximise hotel performance
- Drive revenue optimisation across Rooms, Food &
- Beverage and Conference &
- Events
- Monitor financial performance through forecasting, budgeting and effective cost management

Inspiring and Developing Teams





- Create an engaging, high-performance culture where people can grow and succeed
- Lead, coach and develop leaders across all hotel departments
- Build strong succession plans and talent pipelines
- Champion team engagement, accountability and continuous improvement

Delivering Exceptional Guest Experiences

- Ensure consistent delivery of brand standards and operational excellence
- Foster a guest-centric culture focused on memorable experiences and service excellence
- Respond effectively to complex operational challenges and critical incidents
- Maintain a visible presence across the hotel, supporting both guests and teams

Building Strong Stakeholder Partnerships

- Develop trusted relationships with owners, corporate stakeholders and key partners
- Lead owner reporting, property reviews and business performance discussions
- Oversee asset management and CAPEX planning initiatives
- Represent the hotel within the local community and broader industry

About You You are an accomplished hotel leader who combines commercial expertise with genuine people leadership.

You'll bring

- Proven experience as a Hotel General Manager or in a comparable senior hotel leadership position
- Strong operational expertise across Rooms,

- Events

- Demonstrated success growing revenue, profitability and overall hotel performance
- Experience managing hotel budgets, forecasting, business planning and asset management
- Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- A hands-on leadership style with the ability to engage, coach and inspire diverse teams
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of hotel performance metrics, including RevPAR and GOP
- Experience leading change, driving innovation and improving operational outcomes
- Sound knowledge of WHS, food safety, compliance and workforce management practices
- Full, unrestricted Australian working rights (visa sponsorship is not available)
