The Hotel provides guests with a range of facilities including a full bar, restaurant, and TAB, plus brand new motel style accommodation, swimming pool, BBQ’s, and a conference room.

There are many reasons for visiting Derby on business or for pleasure. For instance, the town serves as a regional administrative and supply centre. However, most visitors are more interested in the Buccaneer Archipelago, Horizontal Waterfall, boab trees, the Gibb River Road, Windjana Gorge National Park, Tunnel Creek, Wharfinger’s House Museum… And the list goes on.

We are currently recruiting for a reception duty manager. Due to the nature of the role in reception, it is important that all front office staff are proficient in word, excel, outlook and publisher. Previous PMS experience in RMS would be highly regarded.





The successful candidate will ideally possess:

Excellent customer service

Display exceptional communication skills

Superior time management skills

Previous reception experience (Preferably on RMS)

Work well under pressure

Must be able to work weekends and public holidays

Impeccable grooming standards

Positive spoken English

Excellent teamwork

Outgoing and friendly

Someone who can take ownership and accountability
