Cabra Dominican College offers an exceptional Catholic co-educational experience for students in Years 7 – 12. We are seeking outstanding educators and relational leaders to join our Student Wellbeing Team as a House Leader for one of our four Houses: Boylan, Murphy, Moore or Kavanagh. This key middle leadership role combines a 0.6 FTE teaching load with 0.4 FTE leadership release, providing the opportunity to work closely with the Deputy Principal: Student Wellbeing and Leadership, Director of Students and Social Work Director to foster student belonging, engagement, growth and success.

The POR 2 House Leader positions are a 3-year tenure from 19 January 2027 until 14 December 2029.

Please note: A permanent teaching position underpins this position of responsibility in accordance with the SA Catholic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2020.

Job Requirements As House Leader, you will lead a positive and inclusive House culture that promotes student engagement, belonging, personal responsibility and growth.

- Lead and nurture a House culture that fosters student wellbeing, connection, engagement and success.
- Build strong relationships with students, families and staff to support positive student outcomes.
- Monitor student attendance, engagement and behaviour data and respond proactively to emerging needs.
- Lead restorative responses to student and family concerns in accordance with College policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with Wellbeing, Learning and Teaching, Diverse Learning and Social Work teams to support individual students and cohorts.
- Develop student leadership, agency and participation through House programs, events and initiatives.
- Oversee House operations, assemblies,



celebrations and community-building activities while contributing to whole-school improvement priorities.
