As an HSE Advisor, you'll join a major utility-scale BESS project in Victoria, partnering with frontline crews, supervisors and project leaders to drive a strong safety culture and support the safe delivery of civil, electrical, high-voltage and commissioning activities .

About The Role This is a hands-on, site-based role focused on supporting frontline teams, coaching safe behaviours, building a strong safety culture and ensuring consistent application of the HSE Management System .
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on, day ‑ to ‑ day HSE support across site activities.
- Support pre ‑ starts, toolbox talks and on ‑ site safety conversations.
- Conduct regular site walks, inspections and safety interactions.
- Assist with incident reporting, investigations and follow ‑ up actions.
- Manage HSE documentation, reporting and compliance with UGL’s HSE Management System.

About You
- Experience as an HSE Advisor in renewable energy construction projects .
- Comfortable FIFO/DIDO working on a roster basis.
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety or equivalent.
- Ability to work autonomously while remaining highly team focused.
- Strong site presence and practical approach to compliance.
