WSG Energy Services is seeking experienced Hydrotest Technicians to join our team on the Kent Future Fuels Project at Ampol Refinery, Lytton (Brisbane).

This is an opportunity to work on a major project with a company that has built its reputation on delivering safe, high-quality services across the Oil & Gas, Power, Water, Mining and Heavy Industrial sectors.

Project Details

Location: Ampol Refinery, Lytton, Brisbane

Start Date: Immediate

Preference: Brisbane-based candidates

Hydrotest Technician Requirements:

- Demonstrated experience conducting hydrostatic pressure testing to ASME B31.3




- Competency in system preparation, pressurisation and hydrotest execution
- Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings & P&ID;'s
- Experience completing QA/QC and test documentation
- Familiarity with hydrotest pumps, gauges and pressure testing equipment
- Understanding of equipment calibration requirements
- Previous shutdown, commissioning or construction experience highly regarded

Requirements:

- White Card - Mandatory
- Police clearance - Mandatory
- Pre-employment medical - Mandatory
- Mechanical Fitter Trade Cert - preferred
- Working at Heights - preferred
- Australian Driver's Licence - preferred

Desirable Experience

- Air blowing
- Nitrogen/Helium leak testing
- Mechanical fitting experience
- Previous supervisory experience

Rates

Hydrotest Technician: $65/hr

Supervisory Positions: $75-$80/hr (depending on experience)
