Your new company

Join a high-profile Federal Government organisation delivering a significant Identity and Access Management (IDAM) transformation program. This program is focused on strengthening security, governance and identity life cycle management across a secure cloud environment, supporting critical government services and strategic cybersecurity objectives.

Your current role

As the Identity & Access Management Technical Lead, you will be responsible for defining and delivering the organisation's IDAM roadmap, including strategy, governance, policies and security controls. You will lead the design and implementation of modern identity solutions using Microsoft Entra ID, while working closely with architects, security specialists, developers, business analysts and testing teams.

You will provide technical leadership across identity governance, access management, SSO, provisioning and role-based access control initiatives, ensuring solutions align with security requirements and business outcomes. You will also support cybersecurity assessments, accreditation activities and the implementation of ISM-aligned security controls.

What you'll need to succeed





- Demonstrated experience leading Identity & Access Management programs and projects.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, identity governance and access management.
- Experience designing and implementing SSO, provisioning and RBAC solutions.
- Understanding of Australian Government security frameworks including ISM and PSPF.
- Experience supporting security accreditation activities, including SSP, SRMP and ATO documentation.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to lead technical teams and provide architectural guidance.
- Current NV1 Security Clearance
