The Identity Specialist will be responsible for the design and implementation of identity technologies within the Digital Environment. Supported by the project manager, business analyst, change manager and implementation partner, the Identity Specialist will be involved in the high-level and detailed design of identity solutions and act as a technical lead throughout their implementation. This role blends architect, technical lead, and engineer responsibilities, with the successful candidate being comfortable working across all levels of technical implementation. Duties of the role
- The high-level and detailed design of the EntraID (IAM), Active Directory, Sailpoint (IGA) and CyberArk (PAM) platforms with integration into other business applications.
- Development of an implementation/improvement roadmap for the EntraID, Active Directory, Sailpoint IGA, and CyberArk platforms.
- Work alongside project and partner resources acting as the technical authority for the implementation of identity technologies.
- Hands-on identity platform configuration and engineering to implement Digital identity capabilities.
- Collaborate with other teams to carry out integration activities of identity with endpoint and network (Zero Trust).
- Oversight and day to day technical management of identity engineers and solution implementation partner.
- Develop as-built and relevant operational technical documentation to support the operation and maintenance of the IMS.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the identity practice within the OTE workplace.
- Work alongside the Cyber Security Domain Architect in the development of identity roadmaps.
Skills and experience
- 5+ years working in the Identity domain as an architect, engineer and/or technical lead with demonstrated experience working across the Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) domains in-line with best practice and security standards.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in end-to-end implementations of IAM, IGA, and PAM solutions in complex environments.
- Experience with implementing identity products within a large complex organisation and transitioning to operations (BAU)..
- Experience implementing solutions aligned with security standards including: NIST, Essential 8 and ASD ISM; and familiarity with modern principles like Zero Trust.
- Experience implementing solutions aligned with industry security standards including AES-CSF and the SOCI act.
- Experience working with Microsoft Active Directory
