We're seeking a Full time Mental Health Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team at Lavarack Health Centre, delivering high-quality, person-centred mental health care to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel. About the Lavarack Health Centre

n

Located at Lavarack Barracks in Townsville — Australia's largest Army base — the Health Centre provides comprehensive healthcare to approximately 8,000 Defence members.
n The facility includes primary medical care, mental health, underwater medicine, surgical outpatient services, dental, physiotherapy, pharmacy services,



and a 24/7 low-dependency inpatient ward.
n Standard operating hours are Monday–Friday, 0700–1630, allowing for strong work-life balance.

What you'll do

- Conduct mental health intake and risk assessments
n
- Support case formulation and evidence-based treatment planning
n
- Contribute to care coordination for Defence members
n
- Assist with group psychoeducation and ongoing mental health programs
n
- Provide compassionate, person-centred mental health nursing care
n

- Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
