Arrive

City of Sydney

We’ve signed up to an ambitious journey. Join us!

As Arrive, we guide customers and communities towards brighter futures and more livable cities, it isn’t a challenge just anyone could take on. Luckily, we have something to help us make it happen. Our people and our values. We Arrive Curious, Focused and Together. Just as our entire brand is inspired by the North Star, the shining light leading travelers to their destinations since time began, our values guide us. They help us be at our best. For our customers. For the cities and communities we serve. For ourselves. As a global team, we are transforming urban mobility. Let’s grow better, together.

The role

Responsibilities

Our Electronics Technicians’ primary responsibilities are focussed on the devices we are deploying as part of our project. Faults happen, so we need you to have skills in:

- Fault-finding of electronic and electro-mechanical equipment
- Component level repairs of surface mount circuit boards
- Replacement of module and component assemblies where applicable
- Soldering and de-soldering of surface mount devices
- Reading and understanding circuit diagrams

Therefore, we require you to have a trade certificate, diploma, or certification in electronic principals, and have had a minimum of 2 years of experience working with industrial electronics. We’ll provide you with an overview of our equipment and provide you with typical electronic workshop instruments so that you can get involved quickly.

How To Make An Impact

We’re a small team, so extra skills go a long way to becoming an integral part of our Sydney business.

As well as your electronics skills we also need you to:

- Have competent computers skills; we use spreadsheets, documents, emails, and service management software to ensure all our work is logged for our customers
- Be confident in working autonomously and without direct supervision; this means you’ll often be responsible for your own time management and activity prioritisation
- Be comfortable working in our workshop environment with other Electronics Technicians; our Sydney office also has other technical and support staff too, and we all work well together in a respectful and harmonious working workplace
- Follow our written and verbal work instructions and procedures
- Be physically fit and must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, full functional assessment, Drug and Alcohol screening, and Police Clearance.
